Solid package: airport pickup, clean room, 4 h lesson/day, all gear included. Swell was chest-high all week. Coach fixed my pop-up in session one; by day four I linked three turns. 350 € total cheaper than a weekend in Hossegor with half the stoke.

Three lessons, two sunsets, one clean little left at Hash Point. Coach moved my back foot an inch and suddenly I was making sections I usually watch float by. Room was simple, breakfast huge, coffee strong. Already re-booked for March.

Booked the private coaching to get my wife surfing. Instructor had her up and riding in two days. she’s still talking about it more than our wedding. We stayed in the shared house, met crew from Oz and Canada, tagged beers on the roof every night. Waves every morning, no crowds, great tagines. 10/10.

Solo mom-trip, bit nervous. Staff met me at the bus, carried my board, fed me couscous. Waves were gentle, other guests felt like instant cousins. I actually cried when I rode my first green wave at 42. Back home now but my wetsuit still smells like Morocco! can’t decide if I should wash it.
