1. Purpose

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms and conditions under which customers may cancel bookings and receive refunds for services provided by Taghazout Surf Souls (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Policy is designed to comply with fair business practices and consumer protection legislation in the European Union and Morocco.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all bookings made via our website, third-party platforms, email, or direct contact for services including but not limited to:

• Surf camp packages
• Accommodation bookings
• Surf lessons and yoga sessions
• Excursions and other scheduled activities

3. Legal Framework

Pursuant to Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. As such, the general 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to bookings made for specific dates at Taghazout Surf Souls.

4. Guest-Initiated Cancellations

A. Cancellation Terms

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and will be confirmed via email. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 14 business days.

B. Late Arrivals or No-Shows

Late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable. Clients arriving after the reserved check-in date will not receive compensation for missed services.

5. Date Changes and Modifications

Guests may request a change of booking dates with no penalty up to 14 days before arrival, subject to availability.
Any changes requested within 14 days of arrival may incur additional charges or be denied based on availability.

6. Provider-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare case that Taghazout Surf Souls must cancel a booking due to unforeseeable events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, public health emergencies), guests will be offered:

• A full refund of all monies paid, or
• An opportunity to reschedule within 12 months at no additional cost.

7. Force Majeure

Taghazout Surf Souls shall not be held liable or required to issue refunds for cancellations or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), including but not limited to:

• Acts of God (e.g., earthquake, storm, flood)
• Government travel restrictions or advisories
• Transportation strikes or airport closures
• Global health crises (e.g., pandemic outbreaks)

8. Partial Use of Services

No partial refunds shall be issued for unused services once a package has commenced (e.g., missed lessons, meals, or excursions due to personal choice or travel disruptions).

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly advise all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, and force majeure events. We shall not be responsible for losses arising from insufficient or absent coverage.

10. Refund Processing

All applicable refunds will be processed:

• Within 14 business days of written cancellation confirmation
• Using the same payment method originally used for booking
• In the original currency paid, subject to exchange rate variances and bank charges
